Dr. Douglas Wingate

About the Speaker
Dr. Douglas J. Wingate is a prominent minister, educator, and author, widely recognized as the Founder and President of Life Christian University (LCU). He is also associated with the International Believers Leadership Connection (IBLC), which sells some of his published works.

Ministry Experience:
Dr. Wingate has over 40 years of diverse ministry experience, including roles in music ministry, youth ministry, ministry administration, and 10 years as a senior pastor.

Education:
He is an alumnus of the Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and holds several advanced degrees (PhD, DMin, DD, MA, BA) from institutions including Faith Theological Seminary, Moody Theological Seminary, and National Bible College.

Christian Higher Education:
Since 1993, he has been involved in Christian higher education, founding Life Christian University in 1995. LCU has since grown into a network of over 200 campuses in churches across the U.S. and globally, with a vision to train future ministers.

Author and Publisher:
Dr. Wingate is the author of several faith-based books, including Divine Healing & Health and Holy Spirit – Empowered Prayer, available through the IBLC website.

Personal Life:
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Wingate lives there with his wife, Susan Wingate, who is also involved in the university as a co-founder and associate professor.

While his primary role is President of Life Christian University, the International Believers Leadership Connection (IBLC) is a platform that aligns with his global vision for training Christian leaders.
